Ann, Thanks for tagging me in this Meme. It took awhile to decide what and how much to share. I keep telling myself that I'll try a small quilting project over the summer but somehow that times flys by too quickly.

Yvonne, I'm anxious to get back to school tomorrow to see one of our teachers to hear all about her trip to Australia over the holiday. Another retirement plan for me is to visit Alaska, Germany and Australia. Not all in one trip however!
I too think reading the 7 Things Memes are a fun way to get to know others. If you ever decide to join Plurk let me know. I'm on Twitter and Facebook but don't spend much time on either one. Plurk on the other hand is a tiny little addiction of mine! I'll be checking out your blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Nedra from sunny Ausralia. It is 82.4F here today and we have our air conditioning on. I really enjoyed your 7 very random things things and thought that, strange as it may seem, it was a great way to get to know someone. I am a Visual Arts teacher in Melbourne Australia and I am still learning in the Web 2.0 field. I have a Visual Arts blog http://www.tlpsart.edublogs.org, love Facebook and during this Summer holiday have tried extending my PLN by joining Twitter, Ning and Classroom 2.0.As a Rotarian and seeing Rotary Youth Exchange at first hand I believe that next to living in another country nothing promotes international understanding more that communicatinion via emails, slideshows and other Web 2.0 tools.
Today's students are so fortunate. I hope to be an increasing part of such understanding during 2009.
Good luck with your quilting,Happy New Year,
Yvonne

It's fun to reflect on the turns our lives take. You went from someone who wasn't too into school to someone who spends a lot of time online thinking about how to help your students learn. I only made one quilt in my life. Although I really like how it turned out, I'm not sure that I'll ever make another. I don't seem to have the patience for it.

Happy New Year and thanks for playing along.
